Happy St David's Day

Barbara says: “Happy St. David’s Day” and recalls the story of St David

saying: “Be joyful, keep the faith, and do the little things that you have heard

and seen me do.” ‘Doing the little things’ often feels ‘all’ that we can do – not

least given a war in Europe! An email from a friend caused us to put together

phrases like: “a sense of place [and landscape];” and “special, sacred, holy

places;” and “I do like that drawing [painting, sculpture, quilt]” and “the people

we love and care about.” All of these ideas and images are, in spite of every

difficulty [and whatever our ideological or faith starting points] sources of

encouragement and shared humanity. “Dydd dewi dewi hapus.”
